Self limiting beliefs around fitness beliefs have the potential to be incredibly damaging. We tend to live out our beliefs around fitness. While we don’t want unrealistic expectations, we also don’t want to fall on the other extreme. Yes there are many things we can’t control, but there is plenty we can, and it’s enough.
Stay positive.

Hi I am a 33-year-old builder with 13 years of experience, I had a break of a year and a half due to weakness caused by hard work in the height of summer without proper nutrition and lack of rest. I recently went back to plastering and just like you suggested I started training with body weight and added small weights with a high number of repetitions to four sets in addition to cycling twice a week. So, as you said, the body remembers and I am surprised to see how the muscles grow very quickly and the body takes on an athletic and toned shape day by day. a question; A friend who broke his leg and had to rest a lot started body building and in three months went from 75 to 85 kg and changed his shirt size from medium to large. Can I make such an achievement while working in the field of construction?

Say you do this Mon Wed Fri, you are resting over the weekend and starting fresh again on Mon right? I guess I am wondering what the rest period is after doing all 3 days. Also, do you keep trying to max out on Day 1 although you are not applying these new PR’s to Day 2?

Are there any books you'd recommend that have helped shape your thinking on life or have just felt impactful / made you a better human? Would be keen to know the Kboges recommended reading list, even if it's short! Thanks as always for bringing us all back to reality ⚓

Yes.. creating those good habits, IS why those physiological cues are there.. the neural pathway is something that MUST be developed. Which is WHY its hard because we are literally, breaking out of one comfort zone, made by previous repeatative actions.. thank you sir for you wisdom and knowledge you have helped me get better.. and I wan't doing to bad to begin with!

Just did them instead of 100 reps of walking lunges I'm doing every other day as part of conditioning (thanks to u). I thought these would be easier than w.lunges. But boy was it hard. Took me 13.5 mins instead of the usual 10 mins in walking lunges. Also knees felt safe because of zero impact. 2:1 to walking lunges then for me.

It's serious even if It doesn't seems but very high volume with 0 weights (only grip) does make muscles. I found it when I started working out and having 1 pec far underdevelooping/pumped/muscle-mind connected than the other. It's even a hassle 6 months into serious workout to develop 1 side as much as the other I have to lean on one side to have the same pump. (Even with slow strict form)
